The page "http://wiki.geneontology.org/index.php/Docs" might be too
general. Just a thought the perhaps there could be a Standard
Definitions page linked from "Docs". I'm wondering if this page will
end up become quick long and that maybe making some subpages might be
good to do now.

Nomenclature question, I'm not at all sure about the mammalian
rules. The nice text on CLN3 has "CLN3" in italics in the sentence
"Mutations in CLN3 ..." thats talking about the gene. Then the
beginning of the next paragraph CLN3 is not italics, its talking
about the protein. However, the last sentence: "All CLN3
annotations ...", also has CLN3 not in italics. Shouldn't that last
CLN3 be in italics?

The discussion and display of orthology is going to be very
important. Budding yeast has a gene called CLN3, the G1 cyclin,
however the Sc ortholog of human CLN3 is called YHC3. A search of
AmiGO for CLN3 is not what should be done to find the budding yeast
annotations. The RefGenomeGraph doesn't mention the gene name in the
table, the SGDID is listed and links to all the correct YHC3 info.
This is an example where a bit more information is needed to help
folks not get too confused. Perhaps listing the gene symbols (what
yeast folks call gene names) can be included in the table on these
graph pages. A final thought, now that we are in the genomic age it
might be best to list the genus species name as the common name is
mentioned.
