[go] left hand menu on GO website

I noticed that the left hand side menu has been changed (has bright  
blue color as background and items are not grouped).
May be there was an email/proposal about this change and I missed  
it.  I could be in the minority, but I find it very hard to navigate  
with all the items in one long list. If we want the Menu open all the  
time, can we indent the items that belong to a certain group?
