And here is a version with a few modest changes:

- modified the table to more accurately reflect the number of species for 
which GO annotation is available

- removed all instances of first person (makes it a bit dry, but 
consistent throughout)

- a few other small changes, some of which reflect suggestions from Judy 
and Eurie
