Hello,

The proposal has been made to obsolete

   first U2-type spliceosomal transesterification activity ; GO:0000362
   first U12-type spliceosomal transesterification activity ; GO:0000363
   second U2-type spliceosomal transesterification activity ; GO:0000364
   second U12-type spliceosomal transesterification activity ; GO:0000367

These terms are not used in annotations at present.

These terms are also not used in any external2go mappings and are not
included in any subset maintained within the OBO flat file.

The reason for making these terms obsolete is that the activities used in
the U2- and U12-type complexes are the same. The cellular component
ontology should (and does) represent the two different complexes, but the
molecular function ontology should not.

*** Unless objections are received by April 29,
we will assume that you agree to this change. ***
