The proposal has been made to obsolete-

ubiquitin cycle, GO:6512

Annotations to this term exists (mostly IEAs) and are listed below.

=======================
Group	IEA	non-IEA	Total
=======================
GeneDB_Lmajor	34	0	34
GeneDB_Pfalciparum	25	0	25
GeneDB_Spombe	11	0	11
GeneDB_Tbrucei	31	24 (all ISS)	55
dictyBase	97	13 (all ISS)	110
FB	25	33 (several codes)	58
GOA_chicken	127	0	127
GOA_cow	210	0	210
GOA_human	503	8 (several codes)	511
GOA_uniprot	7198	2 (1 ISS; 1 IDA)	7200
Gramene_oryza	0	16 (all RCA)	16
MGI	420	34 (several codes)	454
RGD	171	9 (several codes)	180
SGD	173	9 (several codes)	146
TAIR	18	53 (52 RCA; 1 TAS)	71
TIGR_Tbrucei_chr2	0	3 (all ISS)	3
WB	28	0	28
ZFIN	28	0	28

The reason for obsoleting this term is that this term is currently
defined as a cyclical process of ubiquitination and deubiquitination,
while it is not always so.
