Hello,

These terms are distinguished based on which metal ion(s) is/are present
in the enzyme (i.e. gene product characteristics), and one has a
definition identical to that of the parent. They should therefore be
merged with their ancestor, 'ferredoxin hydrogenase activity ;
GO:0008901'; the term names will become narrow synonyms:

    iron hydrogenase activity ; GO:0016948
    nickel hydrogenase activity ; GO:0016949
    nickel-iron hydrogenase activity ; GO:0016950
    nickel-iron-selenium hydrogenase activity ; GO:0016951

A SourceForge item has been created:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1901371&group_id=36855&atid=440764

*** Unless objections are received by Friday, February 29, 2008,
      we will assume you agree to this change. ***

Midori
