Alex,

Sorry for not being clear. I agree, the previous arrangement was  
misleading and I feel the fix we have now is not super clear and  
since we are still in the testing/commenting mode, we can come up  
with ways to make it better?

For example, one option would be to create a separate table to list  
gene products annotated to term+qualifier, have anchors on the top  
and not display all of them in one table.

2 cents. I can go with the majority on this.
