[Go] GO CVS down until Wednesday

Starting in 45 minutes (Noon Pacific time) the GO CVS write repository  
will be offline.  It should be back on Wednesday at noon Pacific.

The anonymous CVS, FTP, and HTTP should all be available during this  
time.  However, the wiki will be down a little today while its moved  
to the new machine, this should be brief.

The biggest issue is that all writes to the GO CVS will fail.  Please  
alert your projects staff that handle any automatic writes, tell them  
they will fail for a couple days.

The Stanford GO group is consolidating all non-Amigo services to a new  
Linux server.  The affected services include:

FTP site (ftp.geneontology.org)
Anonymous CVS (cvs.geneontology.org)
Internal GOC CVS (ext.geneontology.org)
wiki (wiki.geneontology.org)
CVSweb (cvsweb.geneontology.org)
HTTP (www.geneontology.org,archive.geneontology.org)

The migration will begin at noon PDT, Monday July 13th and will finish  
no later than Wednesday, July 15th.  No CVS or wiki changes will be  
allowed once the migration begins.  This work does not affect access
to the GO database or Amigo.  All read only access will be available  
during the cut over. Any automated commits to CVS during the cut over  
will fail. Our users should not notice any down time.
