Dear Franck,

Thanks for writing to the GO.

I am forwarding your message on to the general GO mailing list to see if
anyone can help sort out how to display the referenced entries from these
two databases.

contactText: Hi,

I'm part of the team that maintain the EBI's search engine. GO is one of
the resources we index and, as the other ones, we take into account the
cross references defined in the data.
For GO there are two cross references I can't figure out:

    - egad
           e.g. <go:accession>GO:0000067</go:accession>
                    <go:database_symbol>EGAD</go:database_symbol>
                    <go:reference>chromosome</go:reference>

    - genprotec
           e.g. <go:accession>GO:0000036</go:accession>
                     <go:database_symbol>GenProtEC</go:database_symbol>
                     <go:reference>1.6.15.4</go:reference>)

Could you tell me if there is a way to display the referenced entries
(EGAD:chromosome and GenProtEC:1.6.15.4).
I've found web sites that seem to correspond
(http://www.tigr.org/tdb/egad/egad.shtml and http://genprotec.mbl.edu) but
couldn't search the entries referenced by GO.

Many thanks!
Franck
