We're happy to announce that the GO news site is now live!

You'll see a link to subscribe to the RSS feed and we're also on
Twitter: http://twitter.com/news4go

We encourage everyone in the consortium to now submit news items for
publication - you'll see a link on the left to submit a GO news story
(or go here: http://go.berkeleybop.org/news4go/node/add/news).

You *don't* need a login to submit a new item, just please remember to
leave your name in case we need to contact you about it. It should be
pretty obvious how to submit an item - use html or just plain text in
the box. Don't worry about changing any of the options at the bottom.

Your item will go into a queue and someone from the news group will
review it and then publish it - it will be automatically propagated to
Twitter. Note that we're expecting quite a lot of new news items
initially so it may take a little while before your item is published.

When we've added the links from the front page and we have some
published news, I'll send an announcement to GO friends.
