I have a question about using the &#39;NOT&#39; qualifier in cases where an electronic annotation appears to be wrong.  The specific case is I found E. coli proteins (e.g. YbhA and SerB) are annotated to GO:0015662 &#39;ATPase activity, coupled to transmembrane movement of ions, phosphorylative mechanism.&#39;  I think this electronic annotation was made because these proteins and P-type ATPases share a common catalytic domain, but YbhA and SerB aren&#39;t membrane proteins and don&#39;t have any of the other conserved domains found in P-type ATPases.  How do I indicate what the &#39;NOT&#39; is based on?<br>
