Hi,
Do you have Entrez GeneIDs for your list of genes?
NCBI and UniProt are collaborating to provide mappings between UniProt
accessions and RefSeq accessions for equivalent proteins. Given a list
of GeneIDs one could find the RefSeq accessions, and then the UniProt
accessions.
See the Gene FTP site:
ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/gene/DATA/
gene2refseq.gz
gene_refseq_uniprotkb_collab.gz
Sincerely,
Kim Pruitt

Subject: [Gofriends] Question
I was hoping someone could help me with this:
If I have a list of genes, is there any way to get their respective
swissprot IDs without having to do it manually? Does anyone know of a
website or software that offers that service?
Thank you,
Milagros Perez
