I think polysaccharides are macromolecules, but monosaccharides and 
disaccharides aren't. Oligosaccharides (at least 3, but fewer than "many" 
monosaccharide residues) are in the ever-confounding grey area; ChEBI 
doesn't put them under macromolecule, and I don't object to that.
