[Ontology-editors] [OBO-Edit Working Group] Synonyms checks

Hi,

I don't think it would make any sense at all to include a synonym of any 
scope that is the same as a parent term name; it would be redundant at 
best, and could cause more confusion than it averts.

If there isn't another term using the "non-expanded" name, then a broad or 
related synonym might be useful.
