[Ontology-editors] is_a-complete GO slims?

Hi,
We've just had a gohelp query from a user who has tried to use the owl2obo
converter on the generic GO slim file. It worked, but didn't fill in
superclasses for every term, because in the GO slim not all terms are
is_a-complete. For a few process terms and several component terms, the
is_a parent isn't included in the slim. Do we want to fix this?
As a stopgap for the user, I generated and sent an OBO file in which I
made the is_a orphans direct children of BP or CC. We could do the same
for the "maintained GO slims", or select is_a parents to add; the former
would be simpler and could probably be automated.
Also, it looks like the slims haven't been updated for a while -- the
*.obo files in the GO_slims/ directory are dated April 2008.
Thoughts?
