Hi,

I'm revisiting the 'cellular component biogenesis' branch -- Val has just asked about 'fungal-type cell wall biogenesis' in SF 2781967, so this seems like a good time to deal with the cell wall terms generally.

As I understand it, we agreed (during or around the GOC meeting) to use 'macromolecule' in the name of the 'parts synthesis' part of CC biogenesis, i.e. to add a term for 'cellular component macromolecule biosynthesis'. I'd like to get on with adding the generic 'CC macromolecule biosynthesis' term and making sure other terms are correctly placed under it. At present, there aren't very many other than the cell wall terms, so the main things to do are:

- add CC macromolecule biosynthetic process
- rename GO:0044038 to 'cell wall macromolecule biosynthetic process'; also rename children if necessary
- add and remove relationships as needed (at present there are some TPVs involving some of the glucan biosynthesis terms)

Any comments, or any objections to my just tackling it this week?

cheers,
